The Office of Document Services, located in the basement of the O’Connor Campus Center, provides a number of printing, copying, and imaging services to members of the faculty.
Printing of course manuals and/or collections of articles for classroom use is done by this office. Jobs requiring fewer than ate for these jobs is determined each year. Larger copy r copies will generally be done on a photocopying machine. The per 500 offset depend on the nature of the job; price quotations will jobs will generally be done on an offset press. Educational material to be purchased by students must be processed through the University Bookstore. For material which n, a special form available from Document Services must be completed and handed in at the time requires copyright permissio of the request for reproduction. Although Document Services gives priority to printing course materials, the volume of work makes it imperative that eeded. This is especially important for long course manuals or sufficient lead time be given for work to be completed when n e collections of articles, for materials needed at the beginning of a term, and for work which is to be distributed to a sizabl ociated with “rush” jobs, a premium charge will be added to portion of the student body. The Office of Document Services in coordination with the Office ofCommunications, also has facilities for typesetting, design, and layout of brochures, booklets, programs, posters, flyers, and tickets. The procedures to be followed for such services are described below in the section on Office of Communications, Section V.L.
